Electroys is a product-discovery and learning guide. This policy explains how information is handled when you browse electroys.com, use its product tools, subscribe to updates or contact us. It covers Electroys, not the stores and other websites linked from our pages.

Information you choose to provide

The subscription form asks for your name and email address and requires you to check a box requesting Electroys updates. When submitted, the form sends your name, email address and a source label identifying Electroys.com to a Google Apps Script web service for subscription processing. The subscription flow asks you to confirm your email before activation. This information is used to manage your subscription, send confirmation messages and provide the updates you requested.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you include. We use that information to respond and handle your request.

Search, filters and Ask Electroys

The product search, filters and homepage Ask Electroys tool run in your browser. The current tools do not send the text you type to an AI service or to an Electroys search server. They compare your input with the product information supplied by the site. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information into product requests.

Store links can include a store name in the page URL to preselect a filter. URLs can appear in browser history and normal hosting logs. The site does not require an account to browse, and purchases take place on the linked store's website.

Hosting and external resources

Electroys is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub states that it logs visitors' IP addresses for security purposes. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, styles and scripts from jsDelivr, and some product images or brand logos from external providers, manufacturers and retailers. Your browser contacts those services to display the page. Those requests can disclose your IP address, browser information and referring website information, subject to your browser settings and the provider's practices.

Google also processes requests made through the subscription service and email sent to our Gmail address. Read the Google Privacy Policy and jsDelivr Privacy Policy for their practices. These providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Cookies and tracking

The current Electroys site does not include an Electroys analytics service, advertising pixel or tracking-cookie script. Its catalog filters do not save your choices in cookies or local storage. External services and stores have their own cookie and logging practices; this policy does not promise that those services are cookie-free. You can manage cookies, site data and external-resource permissions through your browser settings.

Product links and other websites

Clicking a product link takes you to a separate manufacturer, retailer or marketplace. That site's privacy policy applies there. Orders, payments, shipping information, accounts and customer service are handled by the destination store. Electroys does not receive your payment-card details through this website. A brand or store appearing in our catalog does not imply sponsorship or a formal partnership.

How information is used and retained

Information provided to Electroys is used for the subscription or contact purpose described above and to address related requests. Our website does not provide a feature for selling subscriber information or sending it to the product stores listed in the catalog.

Subscription and correspondence information is held in the services used to operate those functions. You can request removal or ask about the retention of your information by emailing us. Service providers may retain their own security logs or backup records under their policies; deleting an Electroys subscription does not necessarily delete a provider's independent records.

Your choices and requests

You can browse without subscribing. To stop updates, email myelectroys@gmail.com with “Unsubscribe” and the email address used for your subscription. You can also ask to access, correct or delete personal information you provided to Electroys, or withdraw your subscription consent.

We may need to verify that you control the relevant email address before completing a request. The privacy rights available to you, including the right to complain to a privacy regulator, depend on your location and applicable law. Contact us if you need help exercising them.

Children and family use

The catalog includes products for children, but our email subscription is intended for adults, including parents, caregivers and educators. Children under 13 should not submit their name or email address. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us at myelectroys@gmail.com so we can investigate and arrange its removal.

Security and policy changes

No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please share only the information needed for your request. We may update this policy as the site or its services change; the effective date at the top identifies the published version.
